Visiting a church for the very first time can be a bit nerve racking. "Where do I go? What do we wear? What will the services be like? Is there anything for the kids?" All of these questions are normal. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit at Fargo Baptist will be refreshing, friendly and enjoyable for your whole family. Hopefully the following information will be helpful. If you have a question that's not covered on this page, please do not hesitate to email or call us.
WHAT TO EXPECT...
You can expect to feel "at home among friends" when you visit Fargo Baptist. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by one of our greeters. They will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and then direct you to wherever you need to go. If you decide to visit our smaller group Bible classes at 9:30am, both you and your children will receive enjoyable teaching from one of our many gifted teachers in an age appropriate class.
During the 10:30 morning service your children will have a blast in one of our various Children's Church programs while you listen to wonderful music from the choir and music groups in the sanctuary, followed by a challenging message by Pastor Scheving. The service is about an hour in length. We have a great nursery staff with 'state of the art' facilities for infants, walkers, and toddlers. Mothers of infants will receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need. We also have awesome parent-rooms right in the sanctuary for families who prefer to sit together with their small children who might get fidgety. We hope you will find our church to have a warm 'family-like' spirit and a place where you can cultivate a relationship with God by His grace.
